For years the drive towards a sustainable future has been neglected. Zero Carbon Homes were something that most members of the public felt was unachievable and totally unaffordable. It has fallen to local governments to spearhead the campaign and lead by example on the push for us all to be living in zero carbon homes in the not too distant future. Alexander James Contracts are pleased to say that we have had the pleasure of being part of the design team and then going onto build homes all across London that perform to some of the highest possible standards when it comes to sustainability.

 

Due to our design and build experience we were awarded our first zero carbon scheme through competitive tender nearly 4 years ago. Since then we have used various combinations of modern methods of construction, renewable energy sources and the highest attention to detail in regards to air tightness to deliver award winning zero carbon homes year after year. By January 2023 we will have completed construction of over 50 zero carbon homes for both our public and private sector clients. As our experience in these sorts of builds has grown so too has our ability to offer our clients better value for money.
